Whelan Gallery vacating North Laguna space

Owner Patrick Whelan plans to look for a new location in the fall, and will have a temporary office at Cottage Gallery.

After nearly six years in North Laguna, Whelan Gallery will be closing its doors at the end of the month.

Man caught poaching lobsters in Laguna sentenced

A Riverside man caught poaching lobsters in Laguna in January was sentenced to jail May 5, fined and banned from Laguna's Marine Protection Area.
