Open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays and Fridays through Sundays; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdays; and closed Wednesdays. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for seniors, students and active military. Children younger than 12 are admitted for free. The museum is closed on the Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's days.
11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday: "Imagination Celebration: Imagining Future Landscapes," a day for families to participate in hands-on projects with green, earth-friendly themes. Admission is free during the event.

Until May 20: Works from the collection representing artists who worked in California in the late 19th and early 20th centuries is on view in the upstairs gallery.
Until April 29: "The Postwar War: 1945 to 1980," Southern California artists in this seminal time.
Until April 29: "Victor Hugo Zayas: Mi Obra," paintings and sculpture by the Mexican-American artist.
