Homes and businesses honored for outdoor art

A number of Laguna Beach home and business owners have been honored by the Laguna Beach Beautification Council for works of outdoor beauty displayed at their properties.

Every year, council members search Laguna for homes and businesses that have added visual charm that can be seen from the road.

Residential and commercial property owners were recognized for their efforts June 9 at the Laguna Art Museum with certificates of merit.

The Laguna Beach Beautification Council was founded in 1952 to maintain and enhance the natural beauty in the city. The group will host a potluck picnic at 5 p.m. July 9 at Alta Laguna Park, 3300 Alta Laguna Blvd.
