At the seventh annual show Saturday, four cash prizes of $1,000 were awarded — for the Most Creative Concept, Most Exciting Ensemble, Most Innovative Use of Materials and Most Glamorous and Elegant “Red Carpet” Worthy Creation.

The three-judge panel was made up of artist Regina Jacobson, costume designer Alex Jaeger and set designer Nelson Coates. More than 2,000 festival visitors voted in the People’s Choice Award category.

Most Glamorous and Elegant “Red Carpet” Worthy Creation was awarded to Mariana Nelson for her creation, which was made from over 2,000 black cocktail straws and dry cleaner bags. Her runway look also won the People’s Choice Award.
