Nearly 20 firefighters put out a fire at a home in the 2900 block of Rounsevel Terrace around 10:30 p.m. Monday.

Flames were seen blowing through the ceiling of a garage, and the fire was contained to a laundry room near the garage, Laguna Beach Fire Department Division Chief Dan Stefano said in an email.

Firefighters were able to knock down the blaze before it spread to other structures.

The damage is estimated at $100,000, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation, he said. A wall and ceiling areas were damaged during the fire.
