What do you think about downtown and arts planning? The city wants to know

Share

Laguna Beach is still seeking input from residents on the downtown specific plan update, the Village Entrance Project and the cultural arts plan.

Residents can visit lagunabeachcity.net and answer questions related to each plan. Responses must be submitted by Aug. 31 for the Village Entrance Project and Oct. 5 for the other two.

The Village Entrance Project will add a landscaped pedestrian area at the Forest Avenue/Laguna Canyon parking lot.

Urban planning firm MIG is helping the city update the downtown specific plan, which provides guidelines on land use and building aesthetics. The survey is geared to the city’s retail climate.

The cultural arts plan will create a comprehensive blueprint for Laguna Beach’s arts scene that includes galleries, museums and public art.
