Back on the court for the first time in nearly two weeks, the Laguna Beach High boys' tennis team continued with the second half of its Orange Coast League season Tuesday and disposed of host Estancia, 17-1.
Laguna scored eight of a possible nine points in singles play, and swept in doubles action.
Ryan Gee (6-1, 6-1, 6-0) and Zack Washer (6-0, 6-2, 6-2) both swept, and Sterling Dudley-Bowen won two sets (6-2, 2-6, 7-5) in singles play. In doubles, Alex Duong teamed with Ethan Gee (6-4, 6-1 6-0) to sweep, and the No. 2 team of Jeff Spitz/Tim Nguyen (6-0, 6-2, 6-0) and No 3 team of Stuart Webb/Hayden Seitz (6-1, 6-0, 6-0) also swept.

"The boys were very focused against their league rival, and everyone played exceptionally well," Laguna Coach Don Davis said.
Laguna, 9-5 overall and 6-0 in league, continues its quest for a repeat OCL title Tuesday when it plays host to Godinez at 3 p.m. The Breakers travel Wednesday for a 3 p.m. nonleague match at Newport Harbor, and complete their league regular season Thursday with a 3:15 p.m. match at Costa Mesa.
The Laguna boys' and girls' teams stayed perfect in Orange Coast League meet competition by posting wins Wednesday against host Godinez.
For the boys, Henry White took first place in the boys' 500-yard freestyle with a personal-best time of 5 minutes, 18.17 seconds , and teammate Ben Greenwood was second in the event with a personal-best time of 5:20.07. The Breakers won the meet, 127-43.
The girls' team took a 140-33 victory, with a key swim coming from Olivia Vera, who won the 100 breaststroke and qualified for next month's CIF Southern Section meet with a personal-best time of 1:12.76.
Both Laguna teams, now 4-0 in league, complete their regular-season league meet schedule at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Saddleback.
The OCL prelims meet is May 6.
The Breakers took their Orange Coast League record to 6-0 by starting the second half of league play Tuesday, cruising to a 25-7, 25-8, 25-20 victory over visiting Saddleback.
In a match where the Breakers substituted freely, Jack Wyett had a team-high 11 kills, Reed Donenfeld nine digs, and Cameron DePfyffer had 20 assists.
Laguna, ranked No. 3 in CIF Southern Section Division 2, improved to 10-3 overall.
The Breakers played a league match Thursday at Estancia. The score wasn't available at press time.
Laguna steps away from league action Friday to play a 5:30 p.m. nonleague game at Dana Hills. The Breakers return to OCL play Tuesday , hosting Calvary Chapel at 5:30 p.m. They also play host to Godinez at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
